Voice AI Turns An Unexpected Response Into Rapid Resolution With This 1 Update

If you’ve been paying attention to these product releases, you know that every week we feature a call demo showcasing whatever feature or upgrade we’re talking about that week.

And you know that each of those calls start with a similar script.

“Hi Kristina! Welcome back to The Flip Shop. Let’s get you taken care of. Are you calling about your order placed this week?”

Followed quickly after by a “Yes” or “No.”

While that’s all well and good, not all callers will respond in such an expected way and instead may just launch into the reason for their call.

“Cancel it.” “Start a return.” “Where’s my order?”

The good news is that Flip is smart enough to turn on a dime and respond to what the caller has said – rather than ask the Yes/No question again to get the expected response.

So the call instead goes a little something like…

“Hi Kristina! Welcome back to The Flip Shop. Let’s get you taken care of. Are you calling about your order placed last week?”

“Where is it?”

“Looks like your order has started shipping, and was last seen in Boise, Idaho. Your order is expected to arrive tomorrow. Would you like me to text you a tracking link for your order?”
