Flip + Order Protection – Helping Callers Get Started With Delivery Issues Claims That Much Quicker

Every once in a while, a partner comes along that feels like family.

One such partner for Flip is Order Protection. Here’s the origin story of this epic partnership.

Back in February 2024, a group of Flippers congregated in Palm Springs for eTail – camping out in the radest Airbnb you’ve ever seen. One afternoon during the conference, HexClad’s Michael Ludwig came by for lunch and brought with him Order Protection’s Tanner Chatterley.

Tanner and Flip’s Brian Schiff immediately hit it off – bonding as startup CEO to startup CEO over pasta and garlic bread.

Jump to August, when Brian flew to Salt Lake City for a friend’s wedding. Flip and OP had decided to throw an event in Park City to get local eComm and retail folks out of the SLC summer heat.

Brian was scheduled to appear on Tanner’s The OP Show the same day. So he and Kristina drove to the studio, and low and behold – OneSkin’s Jessica-Rose Garcia was there to film, too. 

JR is a long-time friend of Flip, and the reunion was a joyous one. 

When filming was done, JR, Tanner, Brian, and Kristina carpooled down to OP’s office, where Tanner made the group have a dunking competition at the office basketball hoop.

The group decided to get dinner before heading up to the event.

Then something magical happened. Kristina insisted they take Guardsman’s Pass up to Park City – one of the most scenic drives in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains.

It was a rainy evening and the views were particularly stunning. But the conversation during that drive was the really beautiful thing, resulting in the concept of the “Homie Tech Stack.”

The “Homie Tech Stack” is the dream tech stack for eCommerce and Retail CX teams – as well as the coolest and most fun partners. No competition here, just camaraderie and working together to streamline CX for the best brands on the planet.

Now, that dream is realized. Flip and Order Protection’s integration is live. And it couldn’t be easier to set up.

If you’re a Flip customer that uses OP, all you need to do is navigate to the Configurations area of the portal, click on “Shipping Protection” under Integrations on the left-hand menu. From there, select Order Protection from the dropdown menu, then enter your API key – hit save, and you’re done!

With Flip and Order Protection connected, your customers can call in to start a delivery issue claim with the help of Order Protection – no agent needed.

You can call it a Christmas miracle, but it’s really just your tech stack working together to serve you and your customers seamlessly.
