Shopify brands, listen up. This one’s for you.
A Flip customer came to us recently with a problem they were trying to solve. They were getting A LOT of orders from TikTok, but with those orders came an influx of cancel order calls.
This brand didn’t want their TikTok shoppers to be able to outright cancel their orders via phone through Flip’s automation. Instead, they wanted these callers escalated to an agent.
Thankfully, this was an easy problem to solve with our Shopify API.
Now, callers who have orders with specific order number prefixes who are calling to cancel their orders are directly escalated to an agent for assistance.
Setting it up is as easy as just entering the desired order number prefixes in the Cancel Order intent configurations area of the Flip portal, saving, and you’re good to go.
The real beauty of this is with shoppers increasingly buying through apps like TikTok and Instagram, you’ve got a way with Flip to handle the associated calls with ease. You choose what self-serve options are available to these shoppers via phone, and which go to an agent instead.
Either way, you’re making a good impression on your shoppers by delivering solid phone support and a good customer experience.
Kristina takes you through the set up process for this configuration and showcases a call example in this week’s video.
We’ll be back next week with fresh updates. ENJOY!
