This 1 Update Makes Return Status Calls A Flippin’ Breeze

Holy sh*t it’s May. And holy sh*t it’s product release day!

Today, we’re talking about returns. Specifically, return status.

But before we get into what’s new with how we handle return status calls, let’s talk about how easy it is to set Flip up to handle all types of returns calls as well as how quick it is to set up an integration between Flip and the returns platform your brand uses.

Quick as in, all you have to do is select your Returns provider from a dropdown that includes familiar names like Loop Returns, Happy Returns, and ParcelLab, input your unique API key, save it, and BOOM. Integration set up and you’re good to go.

Now when you click into the Intent Handling area of Flip, all that’s left to do is toggle on that returns are accepted, set your return window, and tell us if your returns policy starts when the order is placed or when it is delivered. All of which you can configure in less than a minute, and as soon as you save, it’s in production and Flip is ready to handle your returns calls.

From there, all that’s left to do is determine how Flip handles specific call types within the broader Returns intent bucket, including how our Voice AI handles callers who wish to start a return, are calling to ask about your return policy, have a return issue, or would like to know the status of their return.

Which brings us to the new new for this week! And it’s all for you Loop Returns users out there.

When a customer calls in to check the status of their return and you have Loop Returns and Flip connected, Flip will let the caller know how to view the status of their return and send the caller a text (after they opt in, of course) with a deeplink to track their return, as well as the tracking number for their return.
