1 Big Update To Resolve Cancel Subscription Calls Via Just The Cancellation Reason

This writer, Kristina, is a subscriptions enthusiast, with ones for everything from mushroom matcha, to skincare, to dog food. 

What can I (fourth wall be damned) say? I’m a Millennial. I love the comfort of knowing my favorite products will show up on my doorstep the same time each month. It feels like a little hug each and every time – I’ll happily take it.

Being as committed to subscriptions as I am, one thing that is and will always remain true for me is that I will be most loyal to those brands that give me all of the options I could possibly need to manage my subscriptions. For each option to self-serve subscription management a brand gives me, my LTV compounds. 

So when I saw this update from our development team come through in a Slack alert, I jumped on it.

This newest functionality enables callers to cancel a subscription in an instant, with the resolution based on what the cancellation reason is.

The example I use in this week’s release video is being allergic to a product. In addition to being a subscriptions savant, it’s also true that I’m a person who is allergic to a whole slew of things. 

I’ve been in situations before where I’ve had to cancel skincare subscriptions because I receive my first order and find it has Almond Oil or some bullshit in it that gives me hives or sends me into full anaphylactic shock. That if such a scenario happened with, again, one of those brilliant brands that let our voicebot answer their calls, the peace of mind it would give me that I could call and immediately cancel the subscription for the reason that it might kill me is immeasurable.

It’s the kind of support that will make me shop with such a brilliant brand again – because who knows, maybe I’m not allergic to all of their products and can start a subscription for something else. Little things like this can truly mean the difference between losing a customer for good or turning them into a repeat buyer.
